Because a fixed price before discovery would either be padded to cover the unknowns or revised upward later. We run a paid discovery phase first, then quote the build as a fixed figure against an agreed specification.
Can you take over an existing application?
Sometimes. It depends on the state of the code. We will do a paid assessment and tell you plainly whether taking it over or rebuilding it is the better use of your money.
